morning stroll by the stream; tripped over a root and slo-mo fell over...scraped knee and bumped noggin on a pointed rock, resulting in tiny acorn above my left eyebrow and bruised pride.
got up, noticed little moth on a nearby tree; and a waterskipper on the edge of the water.
Neither friend was laughing, at least not obviously. I appreciated their discretion, and also their support.
