Clondon52: Introduction
Absolutely hate taking photos of myself but if I want to get better at portraits gonna need to get over myself. This prompt was from January so put it off enough already.

Clondon: "A main photographic goal for the year."
I would like to slow down and be a bit more purposeful with my photography, up till now I have spent a lot of time taking a quick snap then moving on see if the next view is nicer. I want to learn to be more patient, take the tripod out and really study the scene.

Clondon Week 2 - Recreation of an old photo
Today is the feast day of St Mungo so I figured I would take another photo of his mural by SmugOne.
Surprisingly difficult to photography, north facing and unlit with akwardly placed streetlights. But got a nice sunset and quite happy with how it turned out.

Clondon: Past experiences with photography
Gonna give the weekly photo prompt a shot again this year. It has helped me step outside of my comfort zone with photography.

I mostly take pictures of birds. Photographing people is well outside my comfort zone.

A main photographic goal for the year: more emphasis on composition and light rather than just relying on interesting subjects to carry the image.
That should not be taken to imply that this wood stork (Mycteria americana) isn't an interesting subject.
