We just finished remastering Yakuza, another song off Chipsurf Pipeline to continue and commemorate the 10th anniversary. Just like when we originally wrote the album, we'll be releasing the songs as singles as we finish them, complete with their own album covers just like before.

For the remaster, we didn't just "make it louder" - instead we spent some time reworking the guitars a bit, using a more modern mastering suite, and even bounced it to reel to reel tape to give it a bit more analog juice. The end result is one where we like both the original and this version, for different reasons. This version does sound a bit more "modern" and whole. The original has more of a lo-fi and, dare we say, demo sound to it.
Whichever version you like, thanks for your support! Happy Holidays in whatever you celebrate and here's to 2023!

Well it's not the full album yet, but here's the song that started, we think,an entirely new genre (Chipsurf). Newly remastered and re-released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the album (which yes we will be re-releasing at some point as well):

CW: New song out soon, our reel to reel has other plans
We're working on finishing up a brand new chipsurf song! Bee a while since we've done one of them!
Song is basically done but part of the final mastering involves bouncing the whole thing to reel to reel tape as we have done with some of our more recent songs.
So far my reel to reel deck is having other ideas as the tape monitor seems to be causing dropouts. Kinda stuck until the Deoxit shows up...
