  1. Still Apple's best overall tablet, with a few caveats

    misryoum.com/us/reviews/still-

Perhaps one of the most surprising things about the Apple Silicon era is how quickly Apple now updates its products. Take the iPad Air, for example. It’s been less than two years since the company released the M2-powered iPad Air...

  2. In a stunning revelation, the article tells us #TPM has existed for over two decades and is now somehow finding its way into embedded systems—shocking! 🚀 Apparently, if you're tinkering with TPM on embedded devices, you should watch out for "pitfalls" and "caveats," because, you know, tech might actually be complex. 😂

  8. There is a video of me :) (If you looked - Hi!) crafting a #sheath for a #chefs #knife .

So most of my #crafts are of course much simpler looking than my introduction lets to believe.
But that really only seems so as there are many things that are not obvious when looking upon an item.

In addition to interesting #caveats one might endure while #crafting , you may also get an earful of #estonian #language .
It is said that this is as good as listening to #Elvish . There are English subs!

  13. #caveats:

These are acronyms I run across in my day job maintaining a website for a state agency in Delaware. The "Agency" column is only populated if there's a Delaware agency that uses that acronym.

I will add acronyms from federal agencies that I run across in my work or from other states that we link to or reference.

    These are primarily government-related acronyms.

  18. @h2onolan I think people who buy into ai probably get better results - it is worng a bunch and you can waste time and money on it but it can also be helpful and a timesaver, it depends on lots of testing and basically what you put in is what you get out. given the trends you could say things look better long term especially when ai filters down to open source and smb sector #caveats #peer review #algorithms

  25. @jawnsy if you are just in it for the money yeah but biz outcomes are more sales and mkt - in this day and age you have to do it all and look at the bigger picture but some engineers are just in it for the science and good solutions - what the biz does with it is another domain - it's not engineering or coding. you can work hard and be great but the biz can still fail - it may not be your fault - there are just a ton of variables and there are many outside of your control or scope #caveats

  29. To anyone who's been forced to #migrate #databases from one #mysql server to another (Both VMs in my case), aside from stopping whatever's writing to the database so you can pull a clean and complete backup, what other things should I be looking out for?
I haven't had to do this kind of thing for ages (like.. a decade?) and I'm wondering if there are any new #gotchas or #caveats I need to look out for.
    Thanks in advance.
