The fire department had to yank out our stove and cut a hole in the wall to rescue our cat Notty, who had somehow gotten down from the attic, fallen, and wedged herself UPSIDE DOWN at the base of the 1940s lathe & plaster wall. The kitchen is a disaster, but Notty seems fine, if understandably traumatized. So are we!

Another photo update on Clive. He is still sketched out by anything or anyone new. Clive is definitely happier & safer being a rescued, semi-feral cat. Domestic life suits him & he's being loved/cared for very well.

Because she loves to drink from the similarly curved faucet in the bathroom next door, I just installed this new cat fountain for Notty cat. So far she has sniffed it, but is mostly indifferent. She is a cat, after all. Hopefully she'll warm up to it. If not, I'll try removing the spigot, which should result in a bubbling spring effect she may find more acceptable. I can always reinstall the pipe later.
