  5. This has to be my favorite episode of "Fall of Civilizations" thus far. The way Paul Cooper tells this story, the sheer amount of detail in an already very sparse part of history is just astounding. I'm really impressed and highly recommend this to people interested in ancient history.

The massacre at the end and what led to it made me feel quite sad about Carthage. We often forget that civilizations are temporary. So much has been repeated over time when one looks at history. I think nothing that is happening today seems that much different from before.
