#Milano 🇮🇹 Centrale, one December morning in 2007: #Trenhotel #Talgo #Euronight “Salvador Dalí”, from #Barcelona 🇪🇸, has just arrived, hauled by a #Trenitalia #FS Class E.656 #Caimano electric. The train is visible on the left. On the adjacent track, we see the nose of a Class E.444R #Tartaruga.

A picture taken in April 2011 at #Torino 🇮🇹 P.N., if I remember well. This is an #FS Class E.656 six-axle electric, nicknamed #Caimano (🐊) by Italian railfans. E656.607 makes an impeccable appearance and still displays her beautiful original livery from the 1980s - a rare sight in 2011.
