Arrival of the #Stockholm 🇸🇪 to #Berlin 🇩🇪 #SJ #EuroNight at #Hamburg Hbf. Before disembarking, enjoying a small breakfast in the cabin (and the moderate delay of just 90 minutes). An #RDC, ex-DB, Class 101 electric has been hauling the train from #Padborg 🇩🇰 on, with the (7)193 #Vectron deadheading.

At #Malmö 🇸🇪, the #SJ #EuroNight to #Berlin 🇩🇪 reverses: we change our direction of travel and we get a new loco attached, a brand new one actually. A #Railpool Class 193, or rather Class 7193 #Siemens #Vectron will haul the train over the Öresund Bridge (or Øresund Bridge) and through #Denmark 🇩🇰.

Some more impressions from today’s (tonight’s) ride on the #Stockholm 🇸🇪 to #Berlin 🇩🇪 #SJ #EuroNight. With the upcoming operator change, the #SJ cars placed at the head end and terminating by at #Malmö, including the bistro-seater combine, seem to disappear from the consist. Time to take a seat in the comfy chairs and to take some pictures of the Swedish scenery.

With the end of #SJ operating the #EuroNight train from #Stockholm 🇸🇪 to #Berlin 🇩🇪 and v.v., the SJ type RB7 #DiningCar will also disappear from the consist of the train. Time to head to this #Bistro for something to eat and drink! (A vending point for snacks and drinks, apparently called “Kiosk”, will provide some sort of catering in the future, they say.)

Today, #EuroNight #345 from #Stockholm 🇸🇪 to #Hamburg/#Berlin 🇩🇪 runs for the last time as an #SJ operation: from tomorrow on, the private Train Operating Company #RDC will take over that service, basically using the same night train cars. #SJ #Rc6 #1422 has the honour to haul today’s ten-car consist.

#Zurich🇨🇭HB. Boarding the #ÖBB 🇦🇹 #Nightjet to #Graz. Because of track works, we will be re-routed via St. Gallen, being hauled by a Railjet-liveried Class 1116. The bike goes on the train as well, there’s a dedicated bicycle space. For the first part of the journey, the consist includes through #Euronight cars to #Zagreb 🇭🇷 via #Ljubljana 🇸🇮.
