That Healing Touch

I walked amongst the dark swaying trees
as the clouds roared over my head.
The storm without matched the storm within.

Still I stumbled on,
searching, searching,
and finally I was found.

Tears broke forth like rain,
rising up from the depths of my soul
and spilling over in a welcome
flood of realization.

I am healed.

I know not the purpose of the mental hell
I experienced unless it was to break me,
for stubbornness is a wall and a
stumbling block.

Yet this I know.
I am healed and
I am broken.

I wish to be broken more.
