I went to #BodyPump this morning and then did a load of #gardening this afternoon. I am going to seriously regret this tomorrow.

Oooh, I couldn't go do my leg workout today, so instead I signed up for #BodyPump in the evening!

Ah crap, tomorrow's schedule is so packed that I won't have time for a proper leg workout. Probably a #BodyPump at home, or a run... Gotta decide.

Improvised an arms and shoulders workout at home, using my #BodyPump gear, but I think I have to do it in a more structured way. Might need a few new things to supplement my equipment (dumbbells and/or kettlebells).

I don't feel like working or working out today. The #BodyPump sesh yesterday evening seems to have temporarily depleted my willingness to exert any effort. I just want to cat around all day and maybe eat something.

Sigh. My gym is closed these days and I'm struggling to work out. Can't run for my life (heatwave + humidity) so it's AC and #BodyPump at home. Good thing we bought gear... Still, not the same as good old #weightlifting 😐

I will go to my first #BodyPump workout in like a year! I have been doing #BodyCombat frequently, and also I usually do #weightlifting, but I anticipate today's #workout will feel like I've never done it before 😬
EDIT: Not 2 years, 1 year - I forgot that before we moved, we bought a set of weights and worked out on the roof of the old building 😊

I was going to start listening to the #Bodypump 125 track list so I was at least slightly familiar with some of the music before it launches on 1st July, but I see track 4 has been replaced (artist Aero Chord doesn’t align with #LesMills values). Anyone know what the replacement track is? Have they done a Shadowboxer and kept the choreo, but totally changed the music?
Also, is it still Diana picking the music, cos I don’t recognise any of the new stuff?

Yep. 20kg is easy. Even the third set of 8 clean and press felt easier than the last time I was regularly using this weight. It’ll be a couple of weeks before I’ll be in a studio with mirrors in the right place so I can double check my form. I’m in no hurry to go up again, but I’m pretty confident it would be ok. #Bodypump #Bodypump124

Finally felt able to go back up to 20kg for the back track in this evening’s #Bodypump class. All those weeks focusing on form with a lower weight paid off as it felt easy.

No evening class at the gym (bank holiday early closing), no lunchtime class (no cover), so a chance to go back to an old favourite #LesMills #Bodypump release - 93. The music is so good in the older releases. There’s actually a lot of this release that feels similar to the current BP124 (not the squats obviously, as current fashion is super fast reps).

Thankful I have a #LesMills on demand subscription as this evening’s gym class was cancelled (no cover for the instructor). Meant I could finally do #Bodypump 91 as that only had the full release added recently. It’s an old release, but that means the music is great and as I’ve been doing recent releases at the gym, it’s been years since I’ve done these tracks.

Second time doing this alternate #Bodypump 123 chest track and I really like it. Slower, old school choreo with staggers. Went much heavier this evening now I know there are no fast pulses. The last 1/3 is just plate flies anyway.

So it turns out that all #Bodypump instructors notice when you tap your foot through the chest track.

So I got to try the alternate chest track in #Bodypump 123 last night. Slower paced than Clap Snap, so even though it’s got more bar work you can probably still afford to go heavier. I didn’t recognise the name of the band “Capital Theatre” and assumed it was one of #LesMills made up cover bands, but they’re a real, new New Zealand band. I assume there’s some story behind this.
