It's quite a bit thinner than the one I used to use, probably isn't using #18650 cells inside, but it supports QuickCharge on the input too.

All the ones I've used/seen had overcharge protection, so I doubt that's the issue?

Finally got around opening up my #Blitzwolf #BWKC1 #bluetooth #keyboard, as it basically was #DeadOnArrival when I got it more than a year ago.
It would work okay for short periods, but then it would start sending the wrong keypresses, unless I'd bend the keyboard slightly, which basically made it useless.

I've now reseated one of the ribbon cables, and so far I haven't had any issues with it yet. :D

For the BW-FYE1's I have played them in stereo mode with Spotify music for a solid two hours and the batteries were down to 60% indicating they are probably good for a 4 hour stretch at a time. It's a useful benchmark to do so that you can repeat it after a year or two and see how the battery is still performing.

BlitzWolf has 7 different offerings for budget true wireless earbuds

A bewildering array of choices and sometimes Steve Jobs' single option "Apple knows best" can be comforting for many users. I'd bought the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 and then thought afterwards I'd bought an old model as there was also a version 4 and 7 but getting out of the Apple mode of thinking made me realise they are choices.
I found this comparison chart that BlitzWolf has and at their budget prices, I'm thinking of just ordering a set of BW-FYE4's just to try out. It's a pity that some options use different button press shortcuts so buying all 7 could be confusing to use.

BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 True Wireless Earbud - Budget-friendly value at $33-$49 with Bluetooth 5 fast pairing

This is by no means a high-end product but it contains enough of the "kitchen sink features" to be excellent value (especially if you pick them up at around $33 on some online specials). Secure fit, reasonable sound, auto-on and quick pairing, with some extra functionality available via the button found on the earbuds make it quite attractive.
Only relative weakness is the battery life is not very long at 3 hours (longer also means larger earbuds). My Airpods used to get 5 hours but that has already degraded very noticeably recently and they are 23 months old and 4-5x the cost. Although it does not appear to support Google Fast Pair it has Bluetooth 5 and seemingly does a very good job of fast pairing.
