Tomorrow, the 23rd, is 8 years since I had my life-saving #RadicalCystectomy with #RadicalHysterectomy to remove my #BladderCancer (including a grapefruit-sized primary tumor that had grown through my bladder wall and was attaching to my cervix), placed my #Stoma for my #urostomy and left me with #NoEvidenceOfDisease.

Although.... seeing inside your bladder and urinary tract is highly educational, if your #urology dept. lets you watch the #camera feed too. It''s not fun for me, usually a bit of an existential challenge, but I recommend the experience if only once in a lifetime. It's very humbling and makes you want to take more #care of yourself.
