(Actually, there is a third one, but this only uses cito:cites which I currently do not include in #Wikidata)

meanwhile, we see similar things at #BioHackrXiv but the uptake is better. Maybe because it is using Markdown and that is just a lot easier than Word files for authoring journal articles.
Next step here is getting the into into JATS.
