Due to an safety incident when I was younger involving a lanyard, I am vary wary of the things around my neck (happy to talk about it in person, but not on here). Other things around my neck are different, but lanyards are a bit of a trigger.
This is why if you see me at events and conferences, you'll usually find the badge dangling from my belt. I'm not trying to avoid you seeing it or reading it, I just don't want it on a lanyard.
I realise that this does make it difficult to read, and for tech badges, negates the point.
Any suggestions for interesting badge wearing that does not involve it being dangled from the neck?
