I wore my Owl head and cyberpunk jacket for the Halloween party at #supercon and a bit Saturday night too. Though I had to keep taking it off to speak to people. At some point I need to add a speaker like those used for some storm trooper helmets.

Today at #supercon - while the multimeter and bendy and scope SAOs were the most impressive last year, this hedgehog that @mitten made was my favorite. And now I have one!

(I've been thinking a bit about SAOs / badges. Something like a pocket operator would be a cool badge. Alternatively a synth SAO might be a fun idea)

I had a great day at #Supercon - the Star Trek panel was great, I learned about RGB light spectrums and making robots for the movies, and I blinged-it-on with @InstantArcade and Estefannie (they ran a workshop using LED matrices, it was cool).

Several presenters talked about how movies and storytelling in general have the power to inspire people to go make things - to go out and make the world a little better. A wonderfully positive reminder about the value of the arts and creativity in these difficult times.
