Then, if you are willing to read Czech and Italian and Spanish and other Union languages through automatic translation, I would prefere the experiment with hybridity. If not, it is also completely ok for me to stay with "my" English 🙂

We, the inhabitants and the citizens of the Union and the Union institutions, are destined to use English. A short text on the use and the future of English in the Union. The text is in Czech. I know that only 3% of the inhabitants or citizens of the Union understand Czech. But it is a part of the point. Use a translator or ask for help 🙂

The European Union is an internatinal organisation of sovereign national states similar to other such organisations, in particular similar to the organisation of the United Nations. Two short texts on the nature of the Union and its 24 official languages. The texts are in Czech. I know that only 3% of the inhabitants or citizens of the Union understand Czech. But it is a part of the point. Use a translator or ask for help 🙂

Evropská unie je mezinárodní organizací svrchovaných států podobně jako jiné takové organizace, zejména podobně jako organizace Spojených národů.
A to přesto, že ve své sebe-správě Unie používá prvky, které používají svrchované federativní státy,
A to přesto, že se Unie nějak podobá velkým svchovaným států, jako jsou Indie, Čína, Spojené státy, Rusko...
A to přesto, že posouvání Unie směrem k tomu, aby se více a více stávala svrchovaným státem / podobala svrchovanému státu, je (naprosto přípustným) politickým programem jisté části Unie.
Navrhuju, abychom o Unii mysleli, cítili a mluvili jako o mezipatře mezi Českem a Spojenými národy.
Unie svrchovanost Česka neumenšuje. Naopak: ustanovuje, stvrzuje, umocňuje.
Nejsem si jist pojmem "evropská identita", ale moje láska Unii a moje láska k Česku se nijak nevylučují a neomezují. Naopak: vzájemně se posilují. (Láska se neodečítá, láska se násobí.)
Jazyky jsou důležité. V Unii máme "Zmatení jazyků - #BabelEU". To je i potíží i bohatstvím. Jsem přesevědčen, že se v Unii vůbec nemáme pokoušet o něco podobného, o co se pokoušela chybná a mylná teorie tzv. "národních států". Nemáme se vůbec pokoušet o nějaký jednotný unijní jazyk, jehož užívání by mělo spojováno s příslušností nebo s láskou k Unii.

In the European Union, we have it confused because we have 24 official languages, plus others that are not "official". Intruding into this is English, which is the official language due to Ireland and Malta, but its twisting influence is given,

by its control of the global communication space...

Zmatení jazyků - #BabelEU
V Evropské unii to máme zmatené, protože máme 24 oficiální jazyků a k tomu další, které nejsou "oficiální". Do toho se vlamuje angličtina, která kvůli Irsku a Maltě je oficiálním jazykem, ale její kroutící vliv je dán
za prvé
jejím ovládáním celosvětového dorozmívacího prostoru a
za druhé
tím, že neoficiálně je...

Pro mě, jako pro obyvatele nebo občana Evropské unie... je kromě sdílení ze zahraniční anglosféry... důležité nějak námět přetavit do dvaceti čtyř nebo více jazyků Evropské unie ( #BabelEU ) a mít repy ( #RepEU ), kteří námět stručně a srozumitelně předkládají "širokému obybytelstvu"(?). Což mimo jiné souvisí se školskou soustavou Evropské unie.

For me, as a resident or citizen of the European Union... in addition to sharing from the foreign Anglosphere to #EnglishEU... it is important to somehow transform the subject into twenty-four or more languages of the European Union ( #BabelEU ) and have reps ( #RepEU ), who briefly and clearly present the topic to the "broad population"(?). Which, among other things, is related to the school system...

@Pierrette , I believe that we, inhabitants and citizens of the European union should cooperate also directly on person-to-person basis. And across the 27 #StatesEU and across 24 #BabelEU. And more than tooting, boosting and liking. I believe such cooperation is benefitial by itself. And then we can have many goals. For me, the most urgent is
to find ways to express / demonstrate our will that the Union should support #Ukraine to win.
