I believe that we have plurality of #ValuesEU and these restrict each other. Freedom of conscience, freedom of expression, freedom to protest, justice, social justice, cognitive justice, moderation, tolerance... And in that beautiful, complex and living structure I don't see a way "to defend ourselves with effective countermeasures". I recognize the Russian attack, but what to do? Genuine question.

@annekekassteele :-) you are one step ahead of me. I even don't see what I would write to our politicians. For me, the free information space is one of fundamental #ValuesEU . And free means free for agents I don't agree with. Also goverment involvement in education / propaganda goes against #ValuesEU 🤷

It seems to me, that the traditional classification of the political parties in the European Union doesn't work (for me?). @fingolas, yes, it is 🙁 I am sorry 🙁 I am applying De Haas' methodology. See the "spreading" as it is. Then draw conclusions. (See the above references to #CatherineFieschi and @georgelakoff .) And I don't know that I am right, but with De Haas' "knowledge" my feeling is that we should do something else than broadband broadcasting. I propose first to create group of likeminded #Unionians 🇪🇺 .

#I feel that the "facts" in this book are not suitable for general "spreading". I propose #we first create a "school"(?) of De Haas' "students" who are tuned with his "knowledge"(?) and among #themselves ! And then discuss what to do, of which spreding the facts is only one option.

@Veza85UE, yes, I wish for a successful EU 🙂 With Catherine Fieschi, #I find in populism a ("wrong"? / "simplistic"?) view of the relationship between (1) voter / voters or people or populus or #me / #us and (2) #GovermentsEU or elites or "them". The view contains that the word "voters" can be combined like "voters decided", "will of voters", "voters put goverments under presure"... For me, there is and should be plurality of "decisions" / "wills" / "pressures" / "opinions"...
