I'm a huge Awesomenauts fan and I had stopped playing years ago due to the low player count and long wait times for matches. Romino went under at some point and I guess Atari is looking to relaunch the game as a paid game while it's currently free to play.

I'm curious how much effort they will put in to try and make the game a success. The game was never popular and getting players to pay into a multiplayer only MOBA of all things just does not seem like it will work. And I did not see any mentions of new content of any sort. What is the plan here?
