Yesterday I watched an #AudioDescribed movie trailer made by #Vigilante. It seemed to me that the trailer repeatedly paused as a synthetic text-to-speech engine spoke the audio description. The trailer would then restart, pause, more audio description, restart, pause …is this correct? Is this how it is intended to work?
I know there is a thing with AD on the BBC, it isn’t a separate audio track, so they have to make two versions available. #Accessibility #Blind #Disability #Inclusion -

Wow! #StarTrek Strange New Worlds season 2 is out now. Since I do not have a subscription on #Paramount+, I'll just wait for it to be uploaded on #AudioVault. Hopefully they'll upload it soon. 🖖
and to Paramount+, if it's not too much, please make the audio description stereo, not like what you did on #Discovery seasons 3 and 4. -
The fact that there's more #AudioDescribed content on the #BBC #iPlayer website than in the app is kinda sad. While I don't mind the website, I do mind the lack of balance between platforms in terms of #accessibility.
