Watched Respect last night. We both really loved it. Jennifer Hudson plays the part excellently.

Aretha Franklin is referred to as The Queen Of Soul but for me she is the woman who told women to demand respect, both in relationships and in life. 👏💪

Thoroughly recommend if you've not already seen it.

The time has come and the two previously missing but now gloriously present episodes of The Daleks’ Master Plan, namely The Nightmare Begins (Episode 1) and Devil’s Planet (Episode 3), are here to be viewed and reviewed! They appeared not only on the BBC iPlayer but also in full on the US (but not Canadian, feh) Classic Doctor Who Youtube channel, and we have viewed said episodes and have thoughts. But that’s not all we also have an interview with Toby Hadoke, who hosted a screening at Riverside Studios and reflects with Steven on the screening, the episodes, and the overall wonder that is their return!

Trying is one of my favourite shows on AppleTV. If I were forced to pick just one favourite, it would be in the mix to be the choice.

Just watched the first episode of #theListeners on #iPlayer (which The Sun describes as “a real yawn fest” 😀) and really enjoyed it

Really creepy, brooding stuff with some fantastic camera work. It’s not often I’ll rewind a scene to see how a shot was done, but there were a couple of bits like that here

I especially enjoyed the question about Crimean Tatar culture available to us in the wider world.

As a result of this question I learned that Homeward - a Crimean Tatar film directed by Nariman Aliev - is available to watch in the UK on iPlayer! I am looking forward to watching it.
