[follow up] Tel Aviv police-affiliated civilian militia (aka "rapid security response"unit) which looks more and more like a budding "Revolutionary Guard", separates foreign and Israeli journalists at incident scene

A Tel Aviv rapid security response unit led by "the Shadow" (Yoav Eliasi) separated foreign journalists from Israeli ones at an incident site, detaining the foreign reporters while allowing Israelis to pass.

Press photographer Mustafa al-Haruf from #Anadolu Agency reported a voulenteer saying "Israeli – you pass, whoever is not Israeli stays." Arab photographers were specifically targeted for ID checks.

A district spokesperson immediately released the detained journalists upon arrival.

The Journalists' Organization contacted police, who subsequently instructed security response units not to identify journalists at incident sites.
