So I just realized that last week would have been the first week of classes if I were still a professor. And that this year would have been the year I frantically took on a million more things in preparation for submitting my tenure packet. Weird. #AltAcademia

I've moved to hcommons.social, so I'm reposting my #introduction:

I'm a historian of #earlymodernengland, working on #gender #HistoryofFamily, #histmed. I've published on the history of #infertility and I'm now working on a book on #sisters

I'm in #AltAcademia - the program manager for the #DanDavidPrize, currently the biggest prize in the world for #histodons and scholars of the past.

I'm also a #PhDMom of an only child, a #geek, #Dnd player and a knitter and cross-stitcher.
