If you want a modern ImageOptim replacement that does WebP (including conversion to WebP), I’m just playing with the open source Alic macOS app and it’s working great.

The screenshot shows my settings for having it convert whatever is dropped on it into lossless WebP and save it with the same file name but with a .webp extension.
