Really hoping this is not another wildlife disaster for South Australia, we’ve not recovered from the toxic-not-toxic algal bloom that killed so much of our marine life. When I go down to the beach there are still hardly any birds… and now H5N1 bird flu is confirmed: “Agriculture Minister Julie Collins said CSIRO lab testing had confirmed the deadly strain in a greater crested tern found in Robe in South Australia's Limestone Coast.
“There have also been two further confirmed cases in South Australia and one in Western Australia, bringing the total number of detections to 12.”

Interesting results… I see that it’s come down to 50:50 “Sabotage by Telstra” or ditto by Vodaphone (aka “Someone Vibecoded last night's system upgrade”). Noticed at the time that Telstra was often down to 1 bar only (best is just 2) & wondered just what was going on. Guess we’ll never know. While we’re talking politics, what’s this new line they’re repeating ad nauseam & without challenge: ‘as everyone knows if you tax something you get less of it’? As if capital gains tax is taxing housing! The clue’s in the name fellas!
