Another wonderful performance by the #AlbertaBallet, this time a staging of The Wizard of Oz. Just one more left in the 2024-2025 season... #yeg

Well The Dance Theatre of Harlem was absolutely spectacular tonight! The #AlbertaBallet always brings in fantastic guest companies and tonight was no exception. And it was wonderful to see how full the house was. The post-pandemic (such as it is) recovery has been tough and it's good to see the audience size bounce back. Hopefully they inspired a few new subscribers tonight! #alberta #edmonton

Another enjoyable night at the #AlbertaBallet with my lovely wife as they staged their production of Sleeping Beauty! As I mentioned after Doña Perón, I tend to be more of a contemporary fan, but you can't help but marvel at the athleticism of the dancers, not to mention the beautiful sets and incredible costumes. And man, what a crowd! Really happy to see so many folks supporting dance here in #yeg. #alberta #ballet

Going home after seeing Doña Perón by the visiting Ballet Hispánico at the #AlbertaBallet and *holy cow*. The music, performed live, was the highlight for me but everything from the dance to the choreography to the costuming and use of stage space, lighting, and props, was just outstanding. If you're in #yeg it is absolutely worth checking out their Saturday performance. #ballet
