My first encounter with the Anglo Danish army for Saga Age of Vikings. The Irish are not suited for a face to face battle, so needed to try and harass the Danes from the edges.

Another game of Saga: Age of Vikings. This time I fielded my Jomsvikings, which I've fought against but haven't used before.
It was a reasonably close battle, which was pretty much decided by an actual one to one clash between our two warlords.

Our latest game of saga used the Looting and Pillaging scenario from the book of battles. It was the manoeuvrability and speed of the Saxons against the raw aggressiveness of the Vikings.

We had another game of Saga: Age of Vikings, pitting the Anglo Saxons against the Vikings. It was an incredibly close game, playing the Old Feud scenario from the Book of Battles. We each had an extra hero, which we had to keep alive.
There was some back and forth on who was winning, some good roles and bad roles which flipped the course of events. It was a fun game.
