It sort of fascinates me when so many chose to save the plague-ridden family in the tutorial area and then get surprised that they doomed the entire island to suffering and death.
My first instinct wast to let the priests burn the town because well... it's 431 BC and antibiotics doesn't exist and letting a bunch of coughing people who are the sole survivors from a plague ridden town roam free seems REALLY dumb...

I understand fully why people think Kassandra is the better #ACOdyssey protagonist, but unfortunately I just want to play as a hot guy. Who I do think still does a pretty good job

Llevo ya unas cuantas horas jugadas (y las que me quedan 😅 ) y he estado haciendo algunas fotos de los paisajes pero hasta ahora no he compartido ninguna.
Hoy un chico, cuya muerte de su padre he tenido que vengar, me ha invitado a cenar en un alto que tiene vistas al Puerto de Céncreas.
Me quiso conquistar con el estómago, la idea como cita con esas vistas me pareció de 10 pero no es mi tipo, así que he esquivado sus fichas y hemos quedado como amigos 😂

One completely irrelevant thought:
The Kopis LOOKS deadlier than the Xiphos. I think it's something almost instinctual with the "heavy curved knife blade" like structure of the Kopis that makes you more wary of it.

One thing that bothers me with AC Odyssey is that the game clearly is modded afterwards to block nudity.
Several scenes and characters are meant to be nude, described as nude, but all has "Greek tidy whiteys" on.
Why don't you let me turn on nudity, game??

I HATE the Sci fi aspects of Assassin's Creed games.
And no, don't tell me "they are the most important parts" because no they're not. I am playing a sexy muscular female assassin in Athens and you rip me out to make me talk about some irrelevant shit for a plot I don''t care about?
If there was any games like the 'Creed games but without the Sci fi I would play those instead.

I LOVE being on the sea in this game. I never played Black Flag, I am a CRPG person so I only got Odyssey when I realized people were raging on it for being "too much of an RPG instead of a real AC game".
And I was right, it's one of my favorite games ever.

I forgot how much I love using a staff in this game.
It is such an underrated weapon (to the point of there only being one legendary staff, and a shitty one at that, in the game). But it is great if you find a good epic one.
It is the perfect combination of weight and speed. Heavy enough to break shield blocks, fast enough to keep up with swords. And has AOE attacks.

So apparently I had already started a new NG+, in June 2023. (Haven't played for a long time).
Incidentally I am lvl 99 + 19 mastery levels (this is my fourth NG+ with the same Kassandra). I don't feel too OP tho since I don't truly min-max but play as I like.

Speaking of Kassandra in AC Odyssey...
I know you should never take game mechanics "as canon" in AC games thanks to the (imho) crappy animus stuff, but here we have a demigod that loots iron ore by ripping it out of cliff faces with her fingers.

At some point I stopped caring about mistakes in the environment in games.
Like when I first got Skyrim I found a mod where someone had gone thru the whole damn map and tried to fix things like "from this angle you can see that this whole rock face is hovering 20 cm above the ground".
These days it's more of a healthy "I guess the guys never actually walked up to the cliff from this angle. It looks great otherwise".

Pretty tempting to get #ACValhalla for 37.80 MYR. As far as recent #AssassinsCreed #games go, I didn't finish #ACOrigins which isn't surprising cos I got distracted with many other games I have that I also haven't finished. #ACOdyssey, at first I played the male character and I thought meh I didn't like his accent lol and his character had too much testosterone (or what I describe as he's too ooga booga) so I gave it up - until long later I tried playing the female character instead and I loved her character better and the game itself was actually decent and fun so I almost completed it.
I was interested in the game before bcos a #Vikings setting seems interesting to explore but bcos it's set in the UK, I think, I've to say the world/landscape itself seems pretty dull compared to something like Greece in Odyssey (again, not sure about Egypt in Origins since I've only played it like 10 mins).
