Tidal Restoration is important and effective carbon sequestration and provides other environmental services. However there are challenges in accurate measurement, and in assuring permanence. #ACCUs or #CarbonOffset credits generated by this methodology should definitely not be used to offset Scope 1 and 2 emissions from new fossil fuel projects.

as far as I am aware here in Australia domestic airline emissions will fall under the #SafeguardMechanism proposed scheme and will be able to offset 100% of emissions with Australian carbon offset credits. The integrity of those carbon credits already under question.International aviation covered by problematic ICAO CORSIA carbon offsets scheme .
Meanwhile new proposed runways like at Melbourne Airport will induce demand
