    Would it be useful for you if a minifier came with the option to report obsolete and proprietary HTML code?

    I’m thinking about adding a report option to HTML Minifier Next which would enable this.

    Generally speaking the pursuit of creating "The European Union of Mistrust" isn't the way to go.

    Sure, #governments have an urge for control in hypercomplex modern and chaotic #society. But just throwing #tech at it, is NOT the way, and will only backfire. Look only how much much 'safer' the world has become with all the advanced tech we already dumped into society, right?

    If we want to build harmonious and peaceful societies that have the right conditions for #democracy to flourish, we better look at fostering social #cohesion between people. Focus on people's virtues, rather than assume vices in a distrust-first society.

    "Distrust-first" is the environment of #hypercapitalism, where vices thrive and unfairly advantage people who wield them more.

    #Trust is the currency that allows society to progress, and #trustworthiness is upon which it can stand.

  13. @j9t follow the Trump regime’s model of sanctioning #ICC and #ICJ officials, journalists, and pro-peace activists, whistleblowers, etc., but for just reasons, people actually breaking the law and are complicit in war crimes. Arresting #Netanyahu and #Galant would be a good start. What worked for Duterte is surely applicable to leaders of the genocide?

    Hello Jens,

    Thanks again – I used your discount code for JetBrains, PHPStorm today 👍

    As I'm a fan of KirbyCMS and use LaravelHerd for local websites, I needed an IDE that included PHP.

    At first, I thought that more than 200 EUR/year for both (WebStorm and PHPStorm) was too expensive...

    It took me a moment to find the following information:
    jetbrains.com/products/compare

    Then I went for it 😉

  19. If you're a HTML Minifier (HM) or HTML Minifier Terser (HMT) user, I suggest to have a look at HTML Minifier Next (HMN).

    HMN:

    * includes security updates and bug fixes
    * provides additional configuration options (including presets)
    * is faster
    * comes with a more comfortable web version
    * is run by someone who ❤️s HTML

    HMN is generally compatible with HM and HMT.

    * npm: npmjs.com/package/html-minifie
    * GitHub: github.com/j9t/html-minifier-n
    * Web: j9t.github.io/html-minifier-ne

    #html #htmlminifier #minification

  20. HTML minification:

    Extended the HTML Minifier Next benchmarks with @swc/html, and regenerated the data:

    github.com/j9t/html-minifier-n

    The goal of HMN is to (keep) deliver the best minification results, so if you spot an issue with another tool’s settings, please help keep the tests ambitious!

  21. @j9t there is no genocide. It was terrible war, but Hamas did not search peace for their people, as they openly admit. 1200 killed on one day, this was Genocide. Two years fight from an mode n army and "only" how many death fighters and civilians per day? Stop calling it genocide. Ask, why are Palestinians not allowed to leave war as Ukrainians? They are held as human shields by terrorists you are defending.

  25. Annoyed by messy and inconsistent package.json files?

    Not liking existing solutions like `npx sort-package-json`?

    Better sort your package.json content alphabetically? 🔤

    Maybe this little Python script can serve you, too; a fallout from testing Sourcegraph Cody (which I enjoying using here).

    Thanks for sharing the snippet.
    I share your view that an #NFR often leads to misunderstandings and therefore needs to be explained. The same goes for the term #quality #requirements, which I personally prefer.
    From an architectural point of view, the term “architectural characteristics” is understandable, but in my view it thematically encroaches on the solution scope. This could lead to a confusion between the problem and solution perspective.
