Apropos of a challenging stressful time, mother nature has provided a beautiful rainbow! There's suppose to be a bit more rain tomorrow, but not much. If you look closely at the base of the fall colored trees, you can see the bridge over the Animas River I talk about. The view is from the fence of the trailer park I live in. Photography tip: Use a circular polarizer, turned off, to make rainbows pop!

Here's a 30sec exposure of the flooded Animas RIver in Aztec, New Mexico. It doesn't look so threatening smoothed out by the long exposure, eh? It is suppose to rise another foot tonight.😬 And more rain is in the forecast for tomorrow and later next week. 😱 I thought I moved to a desert. WTAF‽

Damn, a nearly major flood forecasted for Saturday morning on the San Juan River at Shiprock on the Navajo Reservation. Just 0.13ft below major flood stage. I hope there isn't too much damage. 😢
