If the ground was at all damp, this is probably the #butterfly equivalent of a "salt lick". Butterflies frequently surround small mud puddles to glean #micronutrient minerals they need. 🙂 🦋

What a moment. Butterflies seem so vulnerable when emerging from a chrysalis or when molting. A while back I witnessed an aegytian grasshopper attacked by a hornet when molting to its adult form. The hornet managed to munch on its soft wings:

@canyakker @shochi_hh Hallo und vielen Dank für die Antwort! #Bakterien also. Die schaffen es, innerhalb weniger Tage jedes Gemüsestück in einen Schleimkloß zu verwandeln. Die #Schnecken lieben das 🤩 (ich weniger, weil sich der #Schleim nicht mehr rausfischen lässt zwecks Reinigung 😉).

Ich will erreichen, dass Nichtveganer u. Veganer an einem Tisch zusammenessen (können). Daher wollte ich mit #vegan u. #nichtvegan Leute ansprechen, die beides zeitgleich kochen wollen. Da haben sich etliche Veganer, die keine Leichenteile sehen wollen, bei mir gemeldet. Sie hätten "#vegan" für sich abonniert, möchten schlicht von Außenstehenden das Wort für ihren Zweck NICHT verwenden lassen.
Das habe ich abgelehnt. -

It was the first time in my life that I saw this animal. When I was young, it was extinct in our landscapes. We were probably both equally astonished. He or she had an incredibly friendly appearance. And was so beautiful.
