He stopped singing and next thing you know he picked up his breakfast, swallowed, and sang again: a Yellow-rumped Warbler. The food delivered itself.

Tempting fate today: the snow tires are off!

On closer inspection of more of my photos of the Black Bear (long lens, cropped of course) it seems clear that s/he had an argument with a porcupine. Quills are broken off around his muzzle. That must suck.

An Osprey looking for some fish for dinner. Tough, I guess, since the lakes are still covered with ice. Only small areas around the mouths of creeks are open.
