Am Wochenende war ja mein wissenschaftliches #Whiskytasting in München.
Die nächste Station ist am 25. Mai in #Karlsruhe. Drei Stunden, sechs Whiskys all the Science!. Es gibt noch Plätze! 😀Anmeldung:

Whisky Advent Day 13: Miltonduff 10 Year Old - Batch 7
Smells almost like a bourbon, oaky vanilla and sweetness. Sweet apple and spice on the palate.
I like this one a lot!

My motto is "Nimis res facio" ("I overdo things"), after all.
Went with a fully-custom whisky advent calendar this year, because I could, and grabbed the Hingston & Olsen Short Story Advent Calendar and the McSweeney's Advent Calendar. Only doing the annual photo exercise with the whisky, though (adding the short stories was fun last year, but a bit limiting.)

This year's Advent calendar—went with a fully custom assortment so I could be sure I was getting (almost) all stuff that is new-to-me, with one or two old favorites thrown in. No idea what order things are in, though. I look forward to finding out.
(Also have the Hingston & Olsen short fiction calendar and the McSweeney's calendar to pair up with it.)

Nice smoke on the nose. On the palate, more smoke and spice, and maybe the tiniest touch of citrus.
Tastes like a delicious campfire. :)
