Red Snapper were (are?) a band that set out to do the whole triphop thing (which wasn't a thing except the press insisted) but with real instruments: drumkit, upright bass, brass here and there. Some people find it too aggressive for their tastes (which may be due to the vocals). I love it for being so rough around the edges, and loud, and very in-your-face. "Image of You" is an outlier and then became a hit of theirs.

#nowplaying Maha Sohona - Endless Searcher
Quite apt for its title, I had been looking for this for a long time. At times, prices on Discogs were completely insane ($300+). They have since calmed down and I got a still-sealed copy a few weeks back. It sounds fantastic and I love the slow, rolling pace that builds to some fantastic crescendos.

This is the version most people know. I also have the original version, which is a very different vibe, a bit less catchy, a bit less danceable, but still a great song (and track two on this one's A side).
I wonder how many people got introduced to Ghost In The Shell through this song's video.

A wonderful collection of simple yet groovy Americana tracks. I am forever delighted that this release got a proper vinyl (re?)master that plays to the mediums strengths. Lots of warmth and intimate sound, you can almost spot the musicians sitting there.

Released when people cared a lot less about vinyl, this one can be hard to find in decent condition (and including everything). It's a great soundtrack in AT's unique style of the time.
