Estoy volviendo a jugar a #HardspaceShipbreaker y es que lo de desguazar naves espaciales es como un masaje directo al cerebro, really.🚀👩‍🚀⚒️🧠💆

Finally completed Hardspace: Shipbreaker.

Played on career mode, oxygen and fuel were no problem after a few upgrades.

Could have completed it sooner but I wanted to see if there's more talk between other shipbreakers or plot twists so I went for highest rank.

I gave no data collection permission since I don't know exactly what data is being collected, and that meant no achievements for me.

Good game, will probably play again later.

Man I love the theme of hardspace shipbreaker: unionization and industrial action. Genre being dystopian scifi settiperfect ng is a match. tbh the story didn't really involve the pc that much, mostly just being dragged along with no input.

The last mission felt really good; blasting apart ships that I used to carefully take apart for maximum monetary salvage value.

It's also scary to see how the techology to revive workers being killed in salvaging accidents can be used by one of the antagonists to just kill the crew for fun.

Gameplay wise it's straightforward, use your tools, take apart the ship, earn money and stuff, upgrade your tools. There are many ways to take apart the ship, and there are several salvages that I keep blowing up. Still need to figure them out and keeps me wanting to go back to experiment.

8/10 game, have to consider uninstalling else I would just keep playing.

Back to ef prep.

I am usually wary of game soundtracks on vinyl. Often, the mixing isn't right, or the very nature of game soundtrack arrangements (usually spliced snippets) makes for not-so-great "linear" listening and vinyl mastering.

This one is a delightful exception, likely since it was all played live anyway, and since the vinyl mastering was done really well. It sounds fantastic and I enjoy it very much

@andycarolan I'm enjoying great success with Whisky, on a pretty high-end Mac. (It's a Wine wrapper, similar to others like Crossover, which also enjoys a pretty good rep.)

I just created a Whisky 'bottle', installed Steam in it, and then started installing games - far from 100% success, but a lot better results than I was expecting. #PerAspera #EvilGenius2 #NewCycle #TeamFortress2 #HardSpaceShipBreaker #SteamWorldBuild #Oddsparks all worked.

I've rolled credits on Hardspace Shipbreaker.

It's in the general Powerwasher Simluator genre, though more complex. The later ships can post a bit of a challenge to figure out a good approach, and it can get hairy.

The plot isn't a massive focus, but is well supported by lots of little bits of world building. The climax is not subtle, and its leftist politics are proudly worn on its sleeve.

I had a few crashes, and the physics can be a tad odd at times.

This week I've been playing #HardspaceShipBreaker . More like hardship space-breaker. Space ship heart-breaker? You salvage space ships. The only heart I'm trying to break is the oligopoly. The story seems very pro-union so far.

For me, it's a meditative game (I play without shift time limit), and the music goes along nicely with it.

Unfortunately, the physical copies are not sold in (or shipped to) Switzerland, only the US and EU. Fortunately, I can still have it shipped to my dad's and have him forward it.
