@Ailantd They need other rovers for support and to keep the operators from going crazy. I imagine this on Mars, with characters like those in #RedMars who travelled in rovers. The one in the drawing looks a little bigger: 2 levels of 500 sq.ft. each aft, one 100 sq.ft. control deck forward. It needs a machine shop, lab backup toilet, store room, air lock, galley, and quarters, all tiny. Reactor and drive are below. It sounds like exploration with time for introspection.

@stargirl Assuming there a #Rayleigh distribution of signal strength, I wonder what probability of having a low packet error rate they consider to be the boundary. Do you have service in 50% of locations in your house and 100% if you climb onto the roof? This would be fun a first and then very annoying.

@Nonilex I know know nothing beyond what I've read in the NYT, but I wonder if some of the criticism of #MartinGruenberg is political because the financial industry opposes the FDIC's increased capital requirements and the Wall Street Journal originally drew attention to the issue.

@DEDGirl @stux Last year when I was riding my motorcycle back from Milwaukee on rural roads, I didn't see the US flag until I reached #danecounty. In the countryside it's mostly those stylized flags of people who claim to love America but hate pretty much everything about it. I wouldn't want to break down there. I wondered if we're already separate countries but just don't know it yet. I hope not. 🙏🇺🇲
