I understand the sentiment completely, but this is a dubious distinction for my congressman representing the #Madison area. I think of the #Midwest as being more conservative in our use of foul language.

During a congressional hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) was clearly unsatisfied w/the stumbling nonresponse from #Treasury Secy #ScottBessent.
#Bessent stammered, eventually telling #Pocan, "It's a very complicated question."

It talks all kinds. My representative, Mark #Pocan, is great, but I can't imagine him writing this. The Midwest is politer than the East Coast.
I agree that the mistakes are jarring on Congressional letterhead.
