Today I got paper mail alerting me of a service that would alert me of property fraud involving my home. The envelope and letter look to be from #DaneCounty #Wisconsin. Remembering that the first Nigerian Prince scam I saw came by postal mail, I decided to try to verify this information by looking at my county's .gov site.

Finally made a targeted trip to the #DaneCounty farmers market this summer. I’ve gone most weekends and got a couple things, but I was inspired to make some carnitas from the new market cookbook with mostly ingredients from the market!
I even ran into my undergrad mentee who’s been off studying for the #MCAT and caught up with her. Somehow I always end up seeing someone I know at the, whether past student or friend, which is always nice.

Excellent second meeting of the Sun Prairie Housing Coalition. We had presentations from Dane County and the city looking at existing housing issues and trends for the next 20+ years. The situation is dire, but work is being put in at every level to try and correct course. I'm optimistic.
Next step is for coalition members to break into work groups. I signed up for the policy group, but also offered to help with web development as needed.

@DEDGirl @stux Last year when I was riding my motorcycle back from Milwaukee on rural roads, I didn't see the US flag until I reached #danecounty. In the countryside it's mostly those stylized flags of people who claim to love America but hate pretty much everything about it. I wouldn't want to break down there. I wondered if we're already separate countries but just don't know it yet. I hope not. 🙏🇺🇲
