What a fricken' #douchebag!
Obviously not someone who has quality financial advice to give unless you're a homeless person with no refrigerator.
It's highly improbable that this guy's technique to secure meals is more cost effective than simply shopping for groceries with a frugal mindset and preparing his own, **quality meals**.
The time (time is money) and expense (round trip travel in NYC, prep, laundry, etc.) spent perpetrating his #fraud, the most egregious of which is sticking unsuspecting hotel guests with his restaurant bills, exceeds the cost of merely fixing his meals at home.
I remember the days when a bunch of us single friends (guys and girls) would hit up the happy hours at night clubs on dollar drink afternoons. We ate for free and if you weren't drinking cocktails then you just asked for a jack or rum & coke with your shot on the side (just a coke without the booze was considerably more than a dollar), and then give your shot to someone else.
Cheese and cauliflower and ranch dip and cold cut wrapped hors d'oeuvres, mini wontons, micro burritos, etc... You could fill up on mediocre bar food for two or three bucks if you wanted to, and get a buzz too after work.
If you were so inclined, you could also stay until the club transitioned into a meat market and get drunk and laid too - which was the general idea to make back their money on the loss leader that got you into the bar in the first place.
If all you did was buy a couple of "dollar cocktails", eat for free and then go home, your still not actually getting a quality meal that can sustain you by doing that every evening.
Now, I've known people that actually lived on fast food. One guy in particular, only ever ordered the same exact thing from Taco Bell for dinner 7 nights a week. No shit. Cringe.
That's a miserable existence, but Mr. Dine & Dash, which, in essence is what that (financial advisor) nimrod is doing at those NYC hotels, is certainly not treating his body like a temple, while he continues to subsist on second rate hotel food - no matter how nice he thinks a Hilton or Marriott restaurant or lounge is.
Plus... They do keep an eye out for this kind of theft and one day he'll run out of hotels to scam when surveillance photos are circulated amongst the #loss_prevention professionals and he winds up spending the night in the #hineyhole_hotel on #Rikers_Island with #gastroenteritis and attorney's fees.
Yup he's not **just** a #douchebag, he's also a fricken' criminal and a dumbass.
