Caught up with the men's #CXWorldCup race from #ValDiSole
Much like Puck, Vanthourenhout just cruised to that win once he got to the front.
Outstanding rides from Vandeputte & Kevin Kuhn to finish on the podium, that could be a big boost for both riders. Ruegg also deserves a mention for his 5th place!
Can blame Van der Poel for not taking risks on that course, especially when you see what happened Iserbyt & Fem. Hopefully both make speedy recoveries. #cycling #ProCycling

Women's race had some very interesting results in the top 10. Puck cruised to victory really, and Ceylin was very comfortable in 2nd.
Battle for 3rd-6th was a bit mad at the end. Persico looked very strong on her return, but too many mistakes and chain issues really cost her. Bakker & Rochette both put in great performances in the tough conditions, and Casasolo with another strong result.
Hope Fem isn't badly injured, didn't look good.

I was very confused for a few minutes thinking this was some strange collaboration or something or that I had somehow totally missed #Metallica announcing a new album, but nope, they just dropped a brand new track and announced a new album and release date out of the blue!
Add to that they have gone with a totally new sound as well which sounds like a pretty sweet mix of thrash and 80's heavy rock!

Managed to catch up with all this weekends #cyclocross on GCN+
Not a lot to say about the #x2obadkamerstrofee races. The women's race wasn't bad, but when you are missing that trio of young Dutch women the field seems a bit lackluster.
Men's race was just Pidcock running away with it, though he did cause a crash in the first lap coming back from a bad start.

Into #Dinosaur Valley with #DanSnow on Channel 5 in the UK here this evening was very enjoyable.
I'm definitely not an expert by any means, but I am familiar with some of the early #history of dinosaur discoveries in north America, especially the Bone Wars between Cope & Marsh, but for anyone not familiar with it is a fascinating part of the history of #Palaeontology and the wild west.
Dan Snow as always does a great job of presenting history in an easily accessible manner.

That recovery from the start by Pidcock was outstanding, and while he looked a bit rusty yesterday you wouldn't have known today. Perhaps pushing a bit harder than he needed to in those final few laps cost him the win?
Vanthourenhout though was well worth the win, if he hadn't taken that little fall himself I think he had Pidcock in trouble.

1,2,3 for the young Dutch women yet again, though this time it was Puck's turn to take the win and she looked by far the strongest on that course from the very start.
Brand recovered very strongly which will be interesting going forward to see if she can challenge the young guns.
Van Alphen looked very good, especially on the descents.

Caught up with the #BMGBVB match. Gladbach absolutely ripped #BVB apart but they could hardly have made it easier.
Can we talk about how the Dortmund midfield was basically nonexistent any time Gladbach countered? Basically left a giant gaping hole in the middle of the pitch every time. We all know Malen, Reyna, Brandt and Guerreiro can't be bothered, but Bellingham spent more time waving his arms about than trying to defend.
Can't wait to not care about football for 10 weeks.
