For our Jour Fixe in September, the Queerfeminismus-AG invites you to the documentary ‘Zuflucht nehmen’ including a discussion with the director Selina Höfner.
Domestic violence affects women from all social classes - in Germany, one in four women experience domestic violence at least once in their lives.
The documentary film ‘Zuflucht nehmen’ shows how structural problems, such as the tight Berlin housing market, exacerbate the situation of women affected by violence.
A lack of shelter and the loss of refuge spaces due to gentrification make it particularly difficult for women to leave violent relationships. The documentary makes the issue more visible and scrutinises the social structures that make it difficult to leave violent relationships.
This is precisely where our queer feminism working group comes in with its practice on feminicides and housing. One of our responses to patriarchal violence is: ✊ Expropriate patriarchy✊

Für unseren Jour Fixe im September lädt die Queerfeminismus-AG zur Dokumentation „Zuflucht nehmen“ inkl. Gespräch mit der Regisseurin Selina Höfner ein.
Häusliche Gewalt betrifft Frauen aus allen gesellschaftlichen Schichten – in Deutschland erlebt jede vierte Frau mindestens einmal in ihrem Leben häusliche Gewalt.
Der Dokumentarfilm „Zuflucht nehmen“ zeigt, wie strukturelle Probleme, wie der angespannte Berliner Wohnungsmarkt, die Situation von gewaltbetroffenen Frauen verschärfen.
Mangelnde Schutzplätze und der Verlust von Zufluchtsräumen durch Gentrifizierung machen es für Frauen besonders schwer, Gewaltbeziehungen zu verlassen. Die Dokumentation macht das Thema sichtbarer und hinterfragt die gesellschaftlichen Strukturen, die einen Ausstieg aus Gewaltbeziehungen erschweren.
Unsere Queerfeminismus-AG setzt mit ihrer Praxis zu Feminiziden und Wohnraum genau dort an. Eine unserer Antworten auf patriarchale Gewalt ist: ✊Patriarchat Enteignen✊

Here’s the receipt that appeared in my inbox. In terms of time spent it worked out to not quite 1 minute/kWh which is pretty good. I started at 30% on the battery. The charger started at 38kW and ramped up to 53-57kW. It was only 9ºC so I think the car limited the kW below the 75kW maximum. I stopped it at 72% when the charger stepped down to 38kW. I went from ~100km-270km range or 4km/min charging.
