It was used as the title song for the 1966 British romantic comedy film #GeorgyGirl. #TomSpringfield, who had written "#IllNeverFindAnotherYou" for the Seekers, composed the music and #JimDale supplied the lyrics. Following a many-month investment in #NeutralMilkHotel’s work, I’m diving deeper into the Elephant 6 collective. First up was #TheGerbils, mainly because I love #ScottSpillane.
‘The Battle of Electricity’ has a little bit of everything I like about 00s indie rock. Instrumental parallels to Aeroplane Over The Sea. The second record reminded me a lot of groups that would follow such as #TheWeakerthans.
I’ll revisit both of these records for sure.

If you’re going to follow me you should be prepared to see a lot of links to tracks by #TheWeakerthans, because I’m just a lot a bit obsessed with the writing of John K. Samson, who is a genius.
Plea From A Cat Named Virtute is the first song in a four part saga that spans three albums and absolutely breaks my heart every time I hear it.
