I disagree on the accommodation issue - unless the state controls where unauthorised migrants live the fallout would be #reformUK will gain votes, the #toriesOut would move right and #labour would lose to a hard-line right wing opponent in 2029
And some migrants are bad actors - it would increase crime

CW: Ukraine war
I think we have to be a bit realistic - the UK has little it can do directly to help #ukraine in fighting this war other than supply weapons, sanction #russia and support international courts
TBF to the narcissist compulsive liar who even the #toriesOut had to turf out of power when the smell of corruption got too strong, he & his successors were supportive of #ukraine - I am not sure there is much more #labour can do

There is always a right-wing in politics. Currently the growing element of it is the "culture wars" populist one - I guess she fell for it

It turns out that identifying episodes of extreme humid heat isn't as easy as it seems at first glance, as it's sometimes hard to be sure if extreme weather observations are genuine or a result of faulty instruments.
I do my best to sort the wheat from the chaff.

@statsguy @Texan_Reverend Yes that's it. We can say the cumulative population burden of #LongCovid grows with #reinfections but not necessarily risk per infection per person (not seen convincing evidence on that).
