  10. Pieces of wood have been engineered to self-drill into the ground to help plant #tree seeds. They are 'hygromorphs' and are inspired by certain seeds in nature that will twist around and drill into ground once they get wet. Made just from oak, these engineered shapes count as a type of #robot and are completely biodegradable. This video of them in action is super cool.
