My gf won a contest to be drawn as a background character in the next Black Mirror graphic novel. She sent some pictures to them last night for reference.

I really wish adding USB extension cords and switches wasn't such a gamble. Even after you double check all the cables and switches involved use the right dataspeed and power, the setup as a whole might not work for whatever reason.
Latest problem: I got a short USB4 extension cord. After installing it, the devices I have plugged into a USB3 hub no longer connect. Oddly though the hub itself registers on my Mac, but nothing plugged into it. #usb #usbc #cables #tech

This was a great exercise for me. I've never done VBA in Word before. I'm probably going to automate a bunch more of the laborous actions I need to do in Word frequently.

In Word I do this a lot with images:
1. Set wrapping to top/bottom
2. Make image equal body width
3. Set image to follow text
4. Set image below text
5. Turn off allow overlap
6. Lock anchorI finally decided to write some vba to do this:
It should work with any number of selected objects.
If you add this to the "Normal" template you can access it in any Word document. I also added it as a button in Word's toolbar. #vba #word #msWord #msOffice #scripting

I like to imagine you open Josh Johnson's closet and see nothing but a dozen identical pairs of the same grey hoodie and blue jeans. #standup #standupComedy #joshJohnson

This is the weirdest cable I own. It's a retractable USB-C 60W cable with Lightning and USB-A adapters attached. I don't know what its data speed; it might be power only.
The max wattage reduces depending on which adapters you have attached.
I have kept it in my bag as backup charger for a few years. I think I've needed to use it maybe twice.

I've spent like 12 hours this week reorganizing my desk cables. I've made a lot of improvements, cleared room, and added some devices: a new 2 to 1 hdmi switch (expanding a 4 to 1 hdmi switch); a USB4 hub; and a USB-C optical drive.
I'm now able to have both my laptops plugged into everything via just one cable for each. I just toggle a couple of switches to alternate.
I have a few things left to do, but I can't wait to show it off. 🤓
