"The Christian nation"--and I use the term with reservation, and only because it's how they like to refer to themselves, has been building this movement, deliberately, painstakingly, and with remarkably steady progress, since the Civil Rights era (if not earlier). We got here because they've been playing the long game for decades and want their fundamentalist version of Sharia Law. I was inside this movement for a few years in the 80s & 90s, and am pretty sure it's time for me to do some more detailed writing on their strategies. For anyone wanting more detail, best book I can recommend at this moment is Kristin Kobes Du Mez's "Jesus and John Wayne." My question of the day is a basic one: WTAF human-hating FIEND came up with the idea of suspending spare tires under truck beds by chains with tiny little crank-down mechanisms that are less than 3" wide, about 3' recessed, and that require removing the license plate to use? Because that kind of extra minutia is just so safe out on the side of a highway. 🤦♀️ #Crabby Alert #BadDesign 🛻💣
