  1. I'm flying on monday and I wanted game guides for my old retro games

    - Online guides can't remember where you stopped
    - Screen turns off and takes a lot of battery even if you save it offline

Solution: save as PDF and upload to my Kindle! I'm a genius

  4. Quite happy with my release process for sofmani

    -> Push updates to git
-> Release Please generates changelog PR
-> When merged, release is created
-> All files are generated & uploaded to release
-> Triggers a dispatch workflow to my OTHER repo, which is the homebrew tap
-> That generates a PR for homebrew update & bottles
-> Add label pr-pull and it updates the tap with the bottles

    With tests on every step

  6. If you're using and , and using multiple currencies, I've created an app that updates your conversion rates every day so you don't have to manually do it, ever :)

Not sure if/when this will be accepted into the App Store, but you can manually install it nonetheless.

    Check it out! github.com/chenasraf/nextcloud

  7. I dunno about you guys, but managing screenshots and screen recordings on Steam Deck is a mess imo.

Often it forgets my scroll position, sharing images is hard, you can't easily multi select or export, and accessing the file browser takes several clicks.

So - I'm making a utility app for managing Steam media, and game/save data.

Is this something you would like to see?

Do you have any ideas on things you would like to see in such an app?

  8. This took so much more time than I thought... But... It works! 😍🤩

  9. Already got columns, alignments, border boxes, different border styles, text styles, size min/max constraints and auto/custom sizing, widget ancestry search... and working on more

Really enjoying the process and the results :)

  10. React Router used to be so good, now it's seriously junk. I don't want your dumb `<Outlet />` and providers with static paths, I want nested component paths so I can shove contexts easily. Why are you making this so hard? And by the time I find how to do it, now I can't use `useMatches` because I do not conform to their dogma. What a load of s***

  11. #BlowTorch is on its way out for #Android ever since they blocked installing old apps.

Enter #Mudblock! My WIP MUD client, which should work for both mobile & desktop!

Follow me for updates, and lmk if you have any ideas :)

  12. Had a lot of fun creating the battle system. But now I realized I initially wanted the battle to take place in the 3D world, not entirely on the UI, which is what I've done so far.

Keeping a separation of concerns is important. Luckily, I wasn't too lazy this time and made sure before that logic and UI code are separate, so it'll be easy to swap the UI into a world-space "UI" as long as it has the same functionality.
