  1. #Thunderbird115 completely breaks two of the Addons I use. i had to roll back.
#cardbook shows its icon, but the view/tab does not appear. Also the whole configuration is gone. No access to my addresses any more.
#ManuallySortFolders did not work either, which I could live with at a pinch. Some github issue contains an update, which made all accounts disappear except of the first one.

  7. So far I like the latest version of Thunderbird - enough to have spent time re-creating my filters on 5 different accounts from Postbox since POSTBOX DOESN'T LET YOU EXPORT FILTER RULES. Argh.
The Send Later add-on doesn't seem to work with the new version, though, which is a bummer. Am hoping it or something like it will at some point.

Oh, and I sure miss being able to search for "Thunderbird" and "Send Later" here without needing hashtags . . .

  8. Oh wow, that was fast! @rafaelmardojai has developed a #gnome #theme for #thunderbird115 and although it is not yet perfect for me it looks freaking #delicious. 🤩️

Warning to #MacOS users (and maybe all users) of #Thunderbird - if you are going to upgrade to #Thunderbird115 make sure your #TimeMachine updates are current before you start in case something goes wrong. In my case Thunderbird 115 just ignored almost half of my email accounts; you could see them in the account settings but neither the Inbox nor the Sent messages were displayed for those accouts.

So I went back to 102 but then it complained that 115 had done something to my profile, so I had to restore that from my Time Machine backup. Then all my accounts worked again.

Also for months #Mozilla has been leading us to believe that 115 would be better looking than previous versions. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so all I will say is that I was underwhelmed by the supposed improvements.

If you are not using a Mac or don't use Time Machine, I strongly urge you to make backups of your Thunderbird application folder as well as your Thunderbird profiles folder and your Thunderbird preferences file befor upgrading to 115.

@9to5linux you might want to track whether any of your readers are seeing this issue, because I am not sure if it is a Mac-specific issue or affects all platforms.
