  1. Hey @nemo have you looked into the #ONDC or #NammaYatri APIs? How feasible is it to develop our own apps/frontends that plug in to the network?

If it works maybe I'll try something for #KaiOS 🤔

  4. @disaster2life I mean #KaiOS is good if you want to also make and receive phone calls/SMS or create a 4G WiFi hotspot on said portable hackable device?

But if those are not important there'd be other options too (check #Beepy and #WiPhone!) :raspberrypi:

For me, it was the one device I'd carry around (until I got #Mobian on my #PocoF1, but my #Nokia2720Flip is still 💯 when I'm not in the city and apt to be blocked by QR-coded React-bloated ticketing systems or something)

  8. @lxsameer that's cool! I *recently* started using #emacs because I found file navigation annoying in other IDEs. I know how to touch type, so now I literally just have to type in what I want (with all the autocompletion benefits just like a shell). Still learning the basics but finding even that awesome!

By the way, I've been programming a bit of #Clojure too, although right now I prefer the #clisp vibes :clojure: :lisp:

  12. Morals and efficacy aside, I think and other companies firing workers in favour of (or whatever they're using) is also a long-term liability 🌏

Today, most people (except the unfortunate folk in places like Tirupur) can shrug off the impact of 's tariffs. But what happens when the decides to cut off access, as happened Veneuelan designers subscribing to Adobe? Or even if just decides casually to raise the rates? 💸

  13. On my way to for tomorrow! Let's give those people some open protocols 💪🏼️

I've been using since before Google became evil, and have never had to shift away because I'm able to take it with me wherever I go—whether it's with its fancy multiprotocols back in the day or my today. Contrast that to the centralised platforms where I've tried to make my home only to find the rug pulled away from under my feet one day. Talk about owning your home! 🏡️
