Fun little Sunday project. I have a Roon Labs server for a on-prem cloud self hosted music server but I wanted a way my wife could play music she likes without an app so I spent the morning getting some stuff up on Docker on my Synology NAS and now have a web remote that can play on our touch screen home assistant. I was honestly just thinking about it being a webpage she could use but this ended up being way more useful. #selfhosted #docker #roonlabs #audiophile #systemadministrator

Since I didn't post an introduction post as my first post I'll post on now.

I'm Will and I'm a proud #ncstate alumni and staff member. I work for a small physical security group as an #applicationsupportengineer (formerly a #systemadministrator team lead). I have stood up soup to nuts (of course with help from my team) our apps to run over 6000 endpoints. I also have written the majority set of #sql statements and created a #jasperreports server to provide important data all across campus.
